Terms of Service

1. Who we are

AceOffer (“AceOffer,” “we,” “us”) is an AI mock-interview product operated from California, United States. By creating an account or paying for a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.

3. Where the questions come from

The questions on AceOffer are reconstructed from interview experiences that candidates shared, mostly in online communities where people discuss their interviews. We combine several independent reports of the same round into one write-up, then add our own walkthroughs, solutions, tests, and preparation notes. This content is:

• not official material from, or provided by, any company named on the site;
• not reviewed, verified, or approved by those companies;
• based on candidates’ recollections, so it may differ from what any company asks, and companies change their interviews over time.

It is for education and interview preparation only. It is not a prediction of the questions you will be asked.

4. No affiliation

AceOffer is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company named on the site, including OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, or any other employer we cover. Company names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify which company’s interviews candidates reported.

5. What you get

A free tier with limited preview questions, and a paid “Pro” subscription that unlocks the full question catalog and unlimited AI mock interview sessions for the companies we cover. The exact scope and pricing are described on the pricing page and may change for new subscribers, but existing subscribers will retain their current price for the duration of any guarantee period we have specifically promised (e.g., the “founding” discount).

6. Subscription, billing, and auto-renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. Your subscription will auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep access until then. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.

Promotional pricing (such as the founding discount) is applied via Stripe coupons and is subject to the coupon’s duration and redemption cap. After a promotional period ends, your subscription will continue at the regular published price unless you cancel.

7. AI-generated feedback is not professional advice

AceOffer uses large language models to play the role of an interviewer and to evaluate your answers. The feedback, scores, and verdicts the AI produces are not a guarantee of interview outcome and are not professional career, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Real hiring decisions are made by real companies using their own private rubrics. You use AI-generated content at your own risk and should exercise independent judgment before relying on it.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) resell, redistribute, or scrape question content; (b) use the service to harass, deceive, or attack others; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer our prompts, models, or infrastructure; (d) interfere with the service’s operation (rate-limit evasion, credential stuffing, abuse of free tier through multiple accounts); (e) submit content you do not have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful; (f) send us, post, or share anything you are bound by a non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement not to disclose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

9. Your content

You retain ownership of the answers, code, and other content you submit during sessions (“Your Content”). You grant AceOffer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process Your Content for the purpose of running the service, generating AI feedback, and improving the product in aggregate, de-identified form. We do not sell Your Content. See the privacy policy for details.

10. Our content

Our walkthroughs, solutions, tests, explanations, rubrics, the selection and arrangement of the catalog, the UI, and our code are AceOffer’s work. Company names and trademarks are not ours and remain their owners’. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use them while your account is in good standing. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property in our content to you.

11. Content concerns and takedown requests

If you believe something on AceOffer infringes your copyright or trademark, discloses information that is confidential to you, or should not be here for any other reason, email aceofferteam@gmail.com with:

• the URL of each page you are concerned about;
• what the concern is, for example the copyrighted work or the confidential information involved, and who owns it;
• your name, the organization you act for, and how to reach you;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, that the information in your notice is accurate, and, if you act for someone else, that you are authorized to;
• your physical or electronic signature.

We review every notice promptly. Where a concern is well founded, we remove or disable access to the material, and we reply to tell you what we did.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if continued service creates legal or operational risk, or if we discontinue the product. On termination we will, where reasonable, allow you to export your session history before deletion.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED OUTPUT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, THAT ANY QUESTION WILL APPEAR IN A REAL INTERVIEW, OR THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL LEAD TO A JOB OFFER.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACEOFFER’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, OR DATA.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will give reasonable notice (e.g., email to your account address, banner in-app). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

18. Referral program

Signed-in users may share a personal referral link. When a person who created their account through your link makes their first payment, we credit your Stripe customer balance with the amount of that payment, up to one month of Pro ($59), applied to your Pro subscription invoices; that person receives 20% off their first payment. Rewards are limited to 12 per referrer in any twelve-month period.

A reward is reversed if the referred payment is refunded within 14 days. Referring yourself, accounts you control, or accounts created to obtain the discount or the reward is not permitted; we may void rewards and close accounts involved. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable. We may change or end the program at any time; rewards already issued are honoured.
